It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe And Airbrush Brushes

It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe And Airbrush Brushes Review, Photos

It Cosmetics has some fabulous makeup brushes and I recently tried a few of their bestsellers. The brushes overall are great quality and have a really nice construction that have been sturdy through many washes.  The Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush #7 ($50; ulta.com) is a dual ended super soft brush that works well for blending cream and liquid products. One side is just dense enough to blend foundation while the other side is great for concealer, especially for spot concealing and under the eye area.

The Airbrush Smokey Liner Brush #125 ($12.50; ulta.com) is a fabulous brush to smudge eyeliner, especially on the lower lash line to create a subtle and quick smokey look.

I also love the Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush #8 ($50; ulta.com) for powder as it has super soft bristles that feel gentle on the skin and picks up powder beautifully.

The Airbrush Radiance Fan Brush #116 ($12.50; ulta.com) is great for a touch of highlighter and deposits sheer layers of product for a super natural look. It is also great for very pigmented blushes. I’ve washed all these brushes numerous times and have had no shedding. They dry quickly and are just as soft as when they arrived.

New And Re-Discovered Skincare Favorites From Sunday Riley, La Roche Posay, L'Occitane And More!

Some new and re-discovered skincare favorites that I have been trying recently.

New And Re-Discovered Skincare Favorites From Sunday Riley, La Roche Posay, L'Occitane And More!

Sunday Riley Blue Moon Clean Rinse Cleansing Balm ($50; sephora.com) is a super luxurious cleansing balm that is now part of my nighttime skincare routine. I love the texture and how beautifully it cleanses my skin without stripping it. As always I use a warm washcloth to remove and follow up with a second cleanser. It even gets stubborn eye makeup off without tugging or much effort.

Tatcha Classic Rice Polish Foaming Enzymatic Powder ($68; sephora.com) is an old favorite that I re-discovered recently. It's something I use on clean skin, and is more of a skin cleanser and exfoliator that brightens and polishes. It isn’t drying and leaves skin feeling squeaky clean without stripping the natural oils.

L’Occitane Immortelle Overnight Reset Oil-in-Serum ($92; loccitane.com) is also another old favorite that I recently added back to my skincare routine. It is a lightweight night time serum-oil hybrid that absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling bright and plump the next day. The fragrance isn't overwhelming and it also works as a daytime serum under makeup too since it leaves skin feeling soft and prepped, creating a nice canvas for makeup.

Oshin Head To Toe Moringa Oil ($38; amazon.com) is new to me and is a lightweight body and face Moringa based oil with a clean formula. It is lightweight, smells amazing and absorbs quickly. It is a great skincare addition to drier skin types and would work well in the drier weather too. I also like to mix a couple of drops to my hand cream for an extra moisture boost and fragrance.

First Aid Beauty Firming Cream with Peptides, Niacinamide and Collagen ($44; sephora.com) is a lightweight cream formulated with peptides and collagen for firming and moisturizing. It is safe for sensitive skin, like most products from First Aid Beauty and is quick absorbing. I love the texture of this one and think it's a great addition to any skincare routine for anyone wanting a moisture boost without the greasy, heavy feeling.

First Aid Beauty 0.3% Retinol Complex Serum with Peptides ($48; sephora.com) is a light weight retinol based serum with peptides formulated for sensitive skin. Its a good nighttime skincare addition and good to start with 1-2 times a week. It leaves skin feeling even toned, improves fine lines and texture overtime. I’ll be able to report back on my overall skin improvement after a few more weeks of usage.

La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Cleansing Oil ($16.99; ulta.com) is a cleansing oil that can be used on the face, scalp and body. It has a silky texture and a mild foam that washes off. If used on the face I would recommend a second cleanse, but it's great to be used on the body without the greasy feeling or leaving behind a residue.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Gel B5 Skin Protectant Repair Gel ($22.99; ulta.com) is a fantastic healing gel that has helped me tackle some rough spots and dry skin. Formulated with 21% glycerine as an active ingredient it protects and takes care of dryness without being very tacky or heavy on the skin. I’d definitely recommend this to have year round, especially amazing during the drier months of the year.

BUXOM Plump Shot Lip Serum Multichrome Tints

BUXOM Plump Shot Lip Serum Multichrome Tints In Celestial Nude, Dream Dolly Review, Photos, Swatches

The Plump Shot Lip Serum Multichrome Tint ($29; buxomcosmetics.com) is a new addition to the BUXOM lip lineup. Its a shimmery, lightweight plumping lip serum with a multichrome, slightly glossy finish. I tried two shades from the line, Dream Dolly, a shimmering plum and Celestial Nude, a nude with a multichrome green shift. The formula is smooth, not gritty, but easy to apply. Celestial Nude is not a basic nude and the color is rather interesting with a slight multi-chrome shift. This makes for a great lip topper and also works on its own. Dream Dolly is a berry with multi shimmer and a gorgeous shade on its own or when paired with a nude lipstick. The longevity like all other glosses is around 2-3 hours before it fades completely. There’s not a whole lot of shimmer left behind but I could see a few once the color fades. The plumping effect is subtle but natural, with a little bit of a tingle. Overall, a good lightweight lip product if you prefer non sticky lipgloss with a multi-chrome twist.
